Every consignment D'trend Logistics moves — from a single pallet to a dedicated contract fleet — follows the same four-step process. Here is what happens after you contact us.
1. Scope the job
We confirm cargo type, weight and dimensions, collection and delivery points, and timing. This is where we match vehicle class to cargo — the rule that prevents overloading and protects both goods and schedule.
2. Plan the route
Dispatch plans the route and schedule before the truck moves: road conditions, checkpoints, delivery windows and a briefed driver. You receive a confirmed collection time, not an estimate.
3. Move and monitor
The vehicle passes pre-trip inspection, and journey management keeps dispatch in contact throughout the run. If anything changes en route, you hear it from us first.
4. Confirm delivery
Every drop closes with delivery confirmation. For distribution clients, route reports summarise each delivery point.
Why the process matters
Haulage fails in the gaps — the unconfirmed pickup, the unbriefed driver, the delivery nobody verified. Our process exists to close those gaps. It is why pharmaceutical and industrial clients, who cannot afford surprises, trust us with their stock.
